Pencil Sharpening - Sharpen pencil before the class begins Raise the pencil - Broken pencils are raised and the teacher determines if it is the appropriate time to sharpen. If not, the teacher provides a pencil.
Make up work Refer to Make Up Binder/Hanging Folder - Assignments are placed in this folder/tray Assignment board; also check http://choong.wikispaces.com
Restroom Pass Students have a certain number of passes per quarter to attend to personal needs. Just leave the door ajar when you leave to the restroom. One student leaves to go to the restroom ONE at a time. Incentives are given to unused restroom passes at the end of the semester.
Sponge Activity A small enrichment activity or assignment for students who complete quality work early. Preferred activity time (PAT) at the end of cycle if all students participated that cycle.
